after graduating from the industrial design program at OCAD University in 2017, we decided to take part in the design world by forming a league of our own.

countless school projects and competitions shaped our design ethics as a duo. we are not afraid of iterating, starting from scratch, arguing with each other, having strong opinions while never being offended.

when it comes to designs, we have strikingly different styles.

we do not pile forms up or lay shapes down just to make things look ‘pretty.’ it is certainly part of what we do, but we like to build narratives through our designs. to learn and tell stories through new perspectives, constantly.
we are ruthless and we enjoy it.

people often ask… why the name?

we chose what we felt is a cheeky and memorable name which evokes a no-nonsense attitude towards delivering compelling designs to our clients. in addition, we hope that Hi Thanks Bye reflects our efficient approach to the design process in a focused and meaningful manner without forgetting the fun aspect of our profession.
