ONE FAIR, TWO STANDS
To jump start this new year, we will be attending our first-ever trade fair in the Asian market - Design Shanghai 2019. We will show our designs at two different stands this time!
Our 2019 furniture collection - Be My Guest will be revealed at the fair. The collection focuses on the trend of the return of the art of entertaining at home. This collection attempts to solve the intimidation and awkwardness through micro-interactions built into furniture pieces while you having your old and new friends over at your home.
At our second stand, we are honoured to have been selected as one of the ten Emerging Chinese Designers by Architectural Digest! The AD committee has given us a brief to design a custom piece under the title - the New Chinese Fusion. We designed a functional/social commentary furniture piece which will be revealed during the fair and will compete for the Top Emerging Chinese Designer.

DesignTO - Faux Garden
We are excited to launch our inaugural collection at our home base this January! HTB is participating the DesignTO Festival to create an immersive installation named ‘Faux Garden’.
For this installation at 30 St. Clair Avenue West, we want to create an indoor garden with greeneries and furniture pieces embedded in between. Visitors are encouraged to walk through the installation and experience the harmonious relationship between organic and man-made objects.
Join us on Sunday, January 20 for a multi-sensory walk-through as part of DesignTO Tours: Exploring Art at Yonge + St Clair!
